3rd illegal substance arrest implies Paris Hilton has no appeal with cops

At least Paris Hilton is regular, and also the socialite and heir to the hotel fortune is doing what she does best. She’s been arrested for drugs, yet again. This time, she was booked for possession of drugs. She got busted for possession of cocaine in Las Vegas. You have to be doing something pretty clear if that happens. Apparently, her two arrests within the last month for marijuana just were not enough for her.

Not a soul told Paris Hilton to not do illegal drugs in public places

Paris Hilton was evidently cruising the Las Vegas strip, driven by her boyfriend in an SUV. According to the New York Post, a motorcycle cop smelled pot smoke coming from the vehicle and pulled them over. He started to search her for illegal substances. She asked the officer if she could get some lip balm from her purse. That is when the plot thickened. A baggie containing what seemed to be cocaine fell from her bag. Wrapping papers that could typically be used to roll marijuana cigarettes were also allegedly in her purse. That’s when she was collared. The Paris Hilton cocaine saga began.

These aren’t flippant crimes

There were approximately .8 ounces of cocaine within the bag. Possession of cocaine carries felony possession of a controlled substance charges. Meanwhile her boyfriend, Cy Waits, the alleged Cheech to her Chong, was charged with DUI, a misdemeanor. Hilton denied the baggie belonged to her. Within hours, her Twitter page was alight with support from her enthusiasts. Hilton is also saying the search was improper, and she is expected to contest it at her trial. Hilton could possibly be looking at a 15 year sentence and $500,000 in fines at the maximum.

This is illegal substance bust number 3 for her. She was arrested in South Africa following the 2010 World Cup and later in Corsica for possessing marijuana. Nevertheless, she was released both times. Though it may be feasible that somebody else is responsible for said contraband, a noted history of association with illegal substances will not bode well for her should she be convicted.
